We’ve had a great summer with mild temperatures overall and plenty of rain to keep our yards looking good. It’s seems like the time sure flew by quickly…..
It will be fall soon and, eventually, we’ll have cooler weather every day! School is now in session. We always like to remind everyone to please keep this in mind when driving through the neighborhood. Please watch out for the kids and, remember, you must stop for school buses when they are loading and unloading. It would be a tragedy for our kids to be involved in a vehicular accident, so please drive slowly throughout the whole neighborhood. 15th Street has always been busy, but now with school in session and with Wal-Mart (and soon to be Sam’s Club) traffic, our intersection could be even more challenging when entering and leaving the neighborhood.
Another topic that comes up from time to time is vehicle “break ins”. Please keep your vehicle doors locked and do not leave any valuables in plain sight. If you see or suspect suspicious activity, please report it to the Edmond Police. You can also send the Board a “notification” email, so we are aware of neighborhood problems, to info@arrowheadvalleyhoa.com.
Our annual ice cream social will be held next month in September. We will send out a reminder email for it and more Arrowhead Valley HOA events in the next week or so. We will also post info on the website and the message board at the front entrance. The Annual Homeowner’s Meeting will be coming up in October. Details coming soon.
